Battalion Activities

During this field meet, the Midshipmen judge junior NROTC's from across Oklahoma. These schools compete in a variety of areas, including formal inspection, drill competition, exhibition, and physical fitness, among others.

At the end of the fall semester and the being of the spring semester the color guard and drill team start practicing in order to compete at Tulane University, in New Orleans, Louisiana.

  • PT and the inventory PFA/PRT

Physical Training, otherwise known as PT, is a crucial part of the military life and it is no different at the University of Oklahoma. Midshipmen are expected to excel at the physical level.

Each spring semester the Army ROTC, Air Force, and Naval ROTC units meet and bring thier dates to the joint military ball. Here we listen to guest speakers, eat a formal dinner, and have an overall good time.

Every spring semester all of the ROTC units meet and compete against one other. The Naval ROTC has had three consecutive wins including this year.

This night is full of fun and tons of laughs. Every Midshipman looks forward to this night because they are able to make skits, humorously avenge wrongs and most of all make fun of one another.
